Maria Kostraki

The greek origin soprano, distinguished in International Opera Competitions, made her stage debut at the age of 23, as Norina in the opera "Don Pasquale" of G. Donizetti at the Munich Chamber Opera.

Since then, she interpreted several leading roles in operas such as: Così fan tutte, Don Giovanni, La clemenza di Tito, L'elisir d'amore, Carmen, Il viaggio a Reims, La donna del lago, La Cenerentola, Die Csardasfürstin, Ariadne auf Naxos, Dido & Aeneas e.c.t.

A significant highlight in her career is her cooperation with acclaimed conductors such as Alberto Zedda, Alessandro de Marchi, Andrea Battistoni, Nicola Pazkowsky and Christoph Perick in important opera Theaters in Greece (Greek National Opera & Opera of Thessaloniki), Germany (National Opera of Nürnberg, Theater of Dortmund, Rossini Festival Bad Wildbad, Festspiele Weikersheim), Italy (Rossini Opera Festival-Pesaro, Teatro Nuovo & Caio Melisso - Spoleto, Teatro Stabile - Potenza) and Egypt (Operahouse of Cairo & Operahouse of Alexandria).
